To try and combat this, I started a mailing list on egroups.com (now yahoogroups.com) for snorkeling discussions. It is fairly quiet a lot of the time, but there are usually some great responses to questions.

We got into snorkeling whilst in the Maldives and found very few references on the web for snorkel rather than dive.
