The history of the open source software movement.
I think I roughly know what open source is about, but I'm reading this to discover the history and what drives some of the people involved in the movement. It covers the history from the early GNU work, through the creation of Linux, Apache, Gimp and many other applications, plus the business side of how Microsoft, IBM, Netscape, Red Hat and the rest got involved.
