Learning Oracle PL/SQL

by Bill Pribyl, Steven Feuerstein

( Amazon )

I've had to dabble in PL/SQL on and off for a few years, but I'd now exhausted the limits of grabbing quick fixes from Google. Time to learn this stuff properly.

I found this text to be just what I needed. A good grounding in the basics of PL/SQL together with some real-world examples of the kinds of issues I'd ran in to.

What impressed me most about this book was the fact that it managed to incorporate some comments on tools, standards and unit testing together with PL/SQL from the ground up.
