The second Robin Cook book I've read recently where the ending seems like an after thought.
Set in the familiar scene of a hospital and pharmaceutical company, this book follows the life of Adam and his wife Julie. Adam is at medical school, finding finances a struggle and relying on Julie's dancing career to fund them both. When Julie becomes pregnant, he goes and finds work at a large pharmaceutical company and discovers strange goings on during the Doctors conferences that the company sponsors. Goings on which may affect the health of his wife and his unborn child.
